Lifetrenz Drug Information Framework and Knowledgebase (DIFK)
A DIFK is a key component for any EHR System and the foundation for any Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS).
The Lifetrenz DIFK is a database capturing the Drug Hierarchy from Allergen / Ingredients / Molecules / Generics way up to the Packaged drug. Further, the DIFK captures all Evidenced-based Knowledgebase and Monographs at each level in the hierarchy. The DIFK also uses the international standard RxNORM and the Drugs are mapped to RxNORM code set at each level of the Hierarchy. While the Packaged Drugs are also mapped to the regional country code-set for the Named Drugs like NDC in the USA or DDC in Dubai- UAE.

The Lifetrenz DIFK is growing and is maintained continuously by a team of our inhouse Pharmacists. In the UAE region, it is updated fortnightly or as frequently as a new version of the Drug list is released by Government authorities in the region.
